01. Our role as your Central Agent

 

As your Central Agents we will carry out a number of tasks on a regular basis to ensure the efficient and effective promotion of your yacht. The main tasks are listed below and elaborated on in further detail throughout this presentation:

 

•• Advise as to the correct asking price

 

•• Recommend the most suitable location for the yacht

 

•• Host and support open house events for industry brokers to learn about the yacht, then following up with all visitors

 

•• Prepare detailed specifications

 

•• Ensure consistent message to the market through one point of contact

 

•• Create a marketing campaign and sales strategy

 

•• Coordinate photography and/or brochure publication if needed

 

•• Promote the yacht through our in-house database of both clients’ and brokers

 

•• Organise and implement the advertising campaign, both online and in print

 

•• Organise and implement PR activities both in print and online/social media

 

•• Distribute specifications and brochures of the yacht

 

•• Collate yacht’s documents for sales purposes

 

•• Help prepare an inventory and exclusion list

 

•• Follow-up enquiries from internal and external brokers

 

•• Report to you on a regular basis on sales enquiries and marketing activities

 

•• Act on your behalf during negotiations with the buyer or a 3rd party broker

 

•• Coordinate sea trial and survey (following an accepted offer)

 

•• Harmonise sale completion and closing process

 

02. Our Promotional Strategy for your yacht

 

Raffles Yacht Group prides itself on innovative marketing ideas to make sure that your yacht stands out from the crowd. The marketing plan and sales strategy will be agreed in advance with you.

03. Commission

 

Your yacht should be listed on customary industry terms and conditions. This ensures that all brokers are well motivated and focused on selling her rather than discussing the potential commission.
